I made it into St. Louis on Thursday, October 13th just in time to make it to Busch Stadium to watch the Cardinals in Game 4 of the NLCS. I met up with my longtime friend Michele for standing room space behind home plate. So I guess it’s now a tradition on this trip that while I’m in St. Louis I spend a lot of money to get into Busch Stadium to stand up for long periods of time, only this time it was actually for a baseball game. Needless to say, it all looked a lot different this time than for U2, without metal plates on the field covering up the grass, a big claw stage in the middle of the outfield, and being way up on the upper level rather than down on the field. The Cardinals lost, but it was so much fun to be there, and they still made it to the World Series! Game 2 is tonight–go Redbirds!
